Sidekick Dog Training

Classes meet once per week for six weeks and are located at Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue, WA (near the Factoria shopping center). Click HERE to view schedule, fees and detailed class descriptions, and to download a registration form - look for the classes taught by Amanda!

• Foundation:

Puppy Head Start. Socialization, training and problem-solving for puppies ages 8 to 16 weeks. A must for the new puppy guardian!

Puppy Manners 1: S.T.A.R.* Beginning (or continuing) training and socialization for puppies ages 17 weeks to 7 months. Upon graduation, puppies are certified as S.T.A.R.* puppies by the AKC. (*Socialization, Training, Activity, Responsibility.)

Dog Manners 1. Beginning training for dogs/puppies 8 months old and older.  

• Next Step:

Puppy Manners 2 (fka Super Puppy). Intermediate training for graduates of Puppy Manners 1.  

Dog Manners 2 (fka Super Manners). Intermediate training for graduates of Dog Manners and/or Puppy Manners 2.  

• Advanced:

Manners About Town. On-the-go training in real world situations with real world distractions.

• Specialty:

Reactive Rover 1 & 2. Specialized training for dogs who are reactive (snarl/bark/growl/lunge) at other leashed dogs.

Dog Park Manners. Focus on skills necessary for positive dog park visits. Class includes off leash play time!

 Tricks for Clicks. Beginning, intermediate and advanced trick training using the clicker to shape behavior.

 Double Dog Manners. Beginning/intermediate training for TWO dogs at once.

Shy Dog Manners. Beginning training and confidence building for dogs/puppies 8 months old and older.
